Managing our own ecological habitat

“While we wash hands frequently, gratefully, as a prime defense against the coronavirus mega-crisis, we should be aware that one-fourth of Earth’s population is rapidly running out of water.
According to new World Resources Institute data, from India to Iran to Botswana, 17 countries around the world currently suffer extremely acute, dangerous water stress. The bottom line: their water—an irreplaceably essential human necessity—is almost finished.
Our human species needs to learn how to manage its own ecological habitat. Without a culture of mind and sense control, then eventually lust, greed, and envy plague any civilization and cripple it.
